BIBS Pacifier Box
The BIBS Pacifier Box is a multi-functional product and is available in six colours.
The Pacifier Box is able to store up the three dummies but also includes and insert if you would prefer to store one dummy only. All BIBS Dummies are able to fit into the insert.
The Pacifier Box comes with a silicone string so that it can be tied to a pram, nappy bag or cot.
Made from 100% safe & food-grade material, the bonus with the pacifier box is that is can also be used to sterilise dummies.
- For both latex & silicone dummies you can sterilise using the scalding method. Remove insert from pacifier box, put dummy in the box and pour boiling water over the dummy so nipple is submerged. Allow to soak for five minutes before removing. Let the dummy dry on a clean towel. If you find and excess water in the nipple, simply squeeze the nipple flat to remove excess water.
- If you wish to sterilise using the microwave (this is only recommended for silicone teats) - leave insert in box. Add two tablespoons of water into box (do not forget this part!) and place dummy in the insert. Put box in microwave for 60 seconds at a mx of 800 watts. Allow box to cool before removing dummy.
We suggest that latex dummies are not be sterilised in the microwave as latex breaks down at temperatures exceeding 100c. If you accidently heat the microwave to more than 100c, this would damage the latex. Silicone is able to withstand higher temperatures.
The BIBS Pacifier Box is able to be cleaned in warm soapy water or the dishwasher if required.
Food grade silicone means that the pacifier box can also be used to store snacks.
